Faith

Focus Attention Inside the Heart

Preface: Stillness Speaks, Too

Faith is not always loud. Sometimes it is the quiet decision to keep going when you can't see the whole path. It is trusting that what you've planted in prayer, patience, and preparation will still bloom, even when the season looks still.

My granddaughter, Khalijah Robinson, reminds me of this kind of faith. There is a stillness in her that isn't emptiness — it's trust. She doesn't have to understand everything to believe good things are coming. Watching her has taught me that faith can be gentle and unshaken at the same time.

Faith means focusing your attention inside your own heart before you look for answers anywhere else. It means believing in the process, in your growth, and in the God who ordered your steps even before you knew there'd be a Ladies In Synch Always.

Wherever you are on your journey, may this pillar remind you to be still, listen closely, and trust that your faith is already working.

With love and faith,
Stacey B. Robinson
